Mayra Goevaerts

Mayra is a third-year PhD candidate and her main focus is the Care-On project. The project focuses on developing and evaluating a lifestyle monitoring system for patients with heart disease in the Máxima Medical Centre. In the past Mayra has often worked on projects which combined monitoring tools and how to translate data back to the user in the medical field. She has also worked at Philips as a User Experience Designer before starting her PhD and works as a UX Design freelancer outside office hours. Both her bachelor and master were at ID in Eindhoven.
