In collaboration with the organization of Precies! de juiste zorg in the Eindhoven region, this research through design project explored ways to bridge existing information provision tools for older adults living at home. In total, five types of information provision tools have been identified and range from physical counters where one can ask a question to online platforms that allow older adults to get in touch with organizations that offer care.
It was found that when such tools are integrated through design and either the tool or its network of people are presented to older adults in this design, a network of information provision can be established. Such an information provision network will help an older adult become aware of the interdependencies that exist between people in the network. In this way, the project shows an exploration of how to design for interdependence in information provision in the research context.
