We as designers always try involve the user in our processes. We talk to them and let them try out things. Recently we even started asking them to design with us. Do we do this with children? Children are often seen as harder to design for, as this younger target group has more difficulty explaining what they want and need. Children think very differently, but they have great potential to be co-creators. That is why coCreate was born. This allow designers to create with children in a fun, creative and constructive way. CoCreate exists out of 3 parts: show and tell, reflect and create each of these parts focuses on different aspects. CoCreate will help give designers a methodology and materials to design with children. Use the creativity of children from the start, do not wait to the end of your process to involve them!
