The Ontmoet & Groet Huys is a community and activity center for older adults. Fit older adults live longer at home, which is beneficial to the packed health care. Group gardening benefits mental, social and physical health. Through literature review, interviews and observations was found that older adults have varying motivations and capabilities. The Tuinier Toolbox is an inclusive service for older adults wanting to participate in group gardening. The service lets the older adults reflect on their motivation and experience. The flower-card shapes an icon that represents one of the 4 levels. The icon leads to a set of activities. The participants decide individually on an activity and in pairs perform the gardening. The Tuinier Toolbox challenges older adults to learn and collaborate. The user test results reflect fun, collaboration, learning and social interaction. Future work will focus on increasing the self-sustainability of the activity and group.
