About Lu Yuan
Yuan Lu is Associate Professor of Design for Healthy and Active Ageing. She is a member of the Faculty Graduate School Admission Committee and a Visiting Associate Professor at Zhejiang University in China. Lu is interested in exploring the use of design probes to create innovation opportunities and support design decisions with multi-stakeholders. She aims at creating intelligent products, systems and related services for the increasing aging society. She has a background in mathematics, industrial engineering and innovation sciences. Lu has been leading and participating in a number of national and EU research projects in the area of designing for healthy and active ageing, including the CRISP Grey but Mobile project (2011-2014) in the Netherlands and the Horizon 2020 REACH project (2016-2020) in Europe. She has been a member of the advice board to the Province Brabant in the area of Healthcare since 2017.
